World Mental Health Day 2020

Updated: Oct 10, 2020

It’s world mental health day 2020 and it’s been a very busy year for us at i-act (for positive mental health and wellbeing). Not only have we trained thousands of people over the last year in the accredited i-act course, but we have also trained-up many i-act instructors to help us meet the increasing demand for our accredited evidence-based i-act courses, particularly our specialist course for managers. Over the last year it’s been great to see the international reach of i-act, including in Ireland, Turkey, USA, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Dubai, Bahrain and many more European countries. A highlight for us this year has been to gain accreditation for our i-act courses with The Royal College of Psychiatrists. After the Royal College approached us, about 18 months ago, we have been working with them to gain this prestigious accreditation and we are thrilled to be recognised and accredited them. We would like to thank everyone who has attended an i-act course and all of our i-act instructors around the world. We know that i-act managers and practitioners not only improve the quality of people’s lives, but they also help people to save their own lives. It’s fantastic to see so many workplaces adopting the PROACTIVE i-act approach and to see the dedication in creating and sustaining healthy working cultures and environments. We have lots planned for the year ahead and, despite the challenges of the global pandemic, we remain optimistic and positive about helping organisations to embed a preventative and proactive approach to workplace mental health and wellbeing. Thank you all for your support and let’s continue our good work together, not only on mental health awareness day, but EVERYDAY 😀
