The i‑act programme is successfully being rolled out across many organisations throughout the UK and around the world (including local councils, corporate businesses, hospitals, housing associations, construction companies, universities etc). There are two versions of the accredited i‑act training, one for specifically for managers and one for employees/frontline-workers. The i‑act course maintains a strong pro-active focus looking at how we might improve wellbeing to help build resilience and keep well. The i‑act course gives participants a good understanding of mental health and wellbeing issues, and issues which may affect someone's mental health and wellbeing. It will teach participants what to look out for and when they should intervene. The i‑act course gives practical tools for supporting someone in a safe way and also offers a 'first-response' approach to supporting someone in distress.
As you can see, each letter of i‑act refers to a different part of the plan.
